Volunteer & tabling
Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to help with a variety of tasks at the March and Rally. From being a greeter to a cleaner, a marshal to a member of the noise brigade, you are needed! Plug in on the day of action.
Volunteer orientation: May 1st, 2pm at Shemanski Park
Medic check-in: May 1st, 3:30-4pm at the horse statue in the South Park Blocks (some level of first aid training, street medic training, or medical skill needed)
Tabling
There will be tables available in the park from 2-9pm.
If your group or organization would like space at a table for materials, email info@healthpdx.org. Tabling is available for groups advocating human rights, worker's rights, and social justice. No candidate campaigning and no selling of products are allowed.

May Day Coordination
Friday, 3pm @St Francis!
Social media people
& media makers (writers, photographers, videographers, livestream) meet to coordinate for May Day actions. Who's gonna be
where, when and covering what? You need people to cover your event? Let's talk. #M1pdx
Saturday, 11am @First
Unitarian Rm B201!
The LAST May Day SpokesCouncil meeting. Everyone and
anyone who is doing any action, event, or autonomous thing on MayDay -- come and coordinate; there is strength in solidarity.
May Day Communication
May Day Spokes Council, the body coordinating between all the different actions and events on May Day, has activated a cell phone texting alert system called a CELLY. Join the cell phone 'loop' and receive updates on May Day about what is going on around the city and how to be supportive.
To join put this: @may1pdx in the body of a text and send that text to 23559
This CELLY is an announcement only list; it is intended for use on May Day and will be disbanded after that date. You can also get CELLY messages delivered to your email if you do not text.
